Job Summary

\n\n

The Superintendent will direct all on‑site activities for multifaceted construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination among subcontractors, trades, and client representatives while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

\n\n

Must‑Have Qualifications

\n\n

8+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on federal, military, commercial, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction codes, OSHA, DOT, and Department of Defense safety regulations.
Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Demonstrated leadership and team‑management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Nice‑to‑Have (Preferred) Experience & Skills

\n\n

Experience with federally funded or DOD contracts.
Familiarity with construction project management software such as Procore or Buildertrend.
Professional certifications (OSHA 30‑hour, PMP, etc.).
Background in cost control, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proactive problem‑solving and risk‑mitigation skills.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

\n\n

Oversee daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring work aligns with schedule and budget.
Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce all safety protocols.
Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and field staff, providing clear direction and monitoring performance.
Review and resolve design or construction issues with engineers, architects, and client representatives.
Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other project documentation.
Perform regular inspections and quality‑assurance checks; address deficiencies promptly.
Manage material procurement, inventory, and on‑site logistics to avoid delays.
Ensure required permits and inspections are obtained on schedule.
Lead punch‑list resolution and final turnover activities at project close‑out.

Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per year (USD)
