About the Opportunity

\n\n

Our client is a global manufacturer of battery technology and frequency control products, serving medical, industrial, IoT, and telecom verticals. This is a growth hire — the company currently covers a large multi-region territory with a single person and wants to add dedicated coverage to better serve the Midwest and East Coast. It's a small, tenured team where everyone collaborates and touches multiple layers of the business — trust and independence matter here, especially given the remote/field nature of the role. There's strong precedent for growth on this team, including into operations-level roles.

What You'll Do

\n\n

Manage external field sales of battery and frequency product lines across an assigned Midwest/East Coast territory
Act as both hunter and account manager — pursue new business while managing and growing existing accounts
Manage and support an existing manufacturer's rep network
Travel to client sites and distributor locations, including alongside reps
Conduct consultative, technical sales conversations
Sell both standard catalog and custom/engineered products across all served verticals

\n\n

What You'll Need

\n\n

External (outside/field) sales experience — not inside sales
3+ years of direct lithium battery industry sales experience (non-negotiable)
Based in the Midwest or East Coast USA
Bachelor's degree in engineering or chemistry strongly preferred
SAP or equivalent ERP experience
Tech-savvy and systems-oriented approach — this is a consultative, technical sales role, not a door-knocker position
Valid passport (approximately one international trip per year)

Existing customer relationships in medical, industrial, IoT, or telecom verticals
Familiarity with custom or engineered battery pack solutions
Technical background in electronics or energy storage
Experience selling frequency control products
German language skills
Experience working with European-headquartered manufacturers
