About the company
\nOur client is an established architecture and engineering firm in South Central Pennsylvania. The firm’s civil team works on a wide range of land development projects, mostly in Pennsylvania.

\n\n

About the role
\nWe’re hiring at two levels: Civil Designer and Senior Civil Designer. In either role, you’ll turn land development projects into buildable, permit-ready site plans using Civil 3D. You’ll work alongside engineers and project managers from concept through permitting and construction documents.

Design site layouts for land development projects, including grading, drainage, roads, parking, and utilities
Build and manage Civil 3D models: surfaces, alignments, profiles, and grading
Produce complete plan sets for permitting and construction
Prepare plans and supporting documents for Pennsylvania permits, including PA DEP E&S/PCSM, NPDES, and PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permits
Work with engineers and project managers to keep projects on schedule
Senior level: lead design on larger projects, review others’ work, and mentor junior designers

\n\n

What you’ll need

\n\n

Land development or site design experience (required)
Hands-on Civil 3D experience with grading, surfaces, alignments, and plan production. Basic AutoCAD drafting alone doesn’t qualify.
Experience with Pennsylvania permitting: PA DEP E&S/PCSM, NPDES, and/or PennDOT HOPs
Civil Designer: 3+ years of civil/site design experience
Senior Civil Designer: 10+ years of Civil 3D experience
Able to commute to the York, PA area

What’s offered

\n\n

Competitive salary based on experience
Quarterly bonus program
A collaborative, multi-discipline team where your work is visible
Clear path from Designer to Senior Designer
